NON-FERROUS
This saw is basically designed for cutting non-ferrous metals -- aluminum, copper, brass -- solids, structures and plates, with carbide tipped saw blades.

Capacity:
Up to 7" thick; see cut-off capacity chart. Industrial applications for Original Metal Cutting Radial Saws are so numerous and diverse that any listing would not cover them all.

However, all of the following materials can be cut easily with the use of carbide-tipped blades, plus coolant. Note that we do not recommend cutting bulk-filled plastics (paper, fiberglass, asbestos, linen-abrasives).

Aluminum Vulcanized Fiber Thermosetting Plastics: Epoxy, Polyester Thermo-Plastic Materials: Rigid, Vinyl Styrene, Nylon, ABS

FERROUS: Friction Saw Blade - This saw is also recommended for FRICTION CUTTING light gauge ferrous metals where large cutting capacity is required due to shape or forming of the material, such as door bucks, steel studs and joists, panels and trusses. Exact friction cutting capacity of this saw is described in more detail in the following specifications.
